Use WhatsApp Groups for the Right Purpose

On WhatsApp groups, I could go on and on on how we are misusing this good feature.

As I write this, am at odds with a good number of people, reason, I ‘lefted’ their whatsApp groups.

When asked why I ‘lefted’, I get lost between giving an I-am-sorry-I-don’t-even-know-how-it-happened or standing up to them with the truth. See, quite frankly, there’s never anything meaningful going on in this sorry groups. What’s the point of being in a sad group with equally sad people exchanging, even more, sad chain messages all day?? The forward-this-to-thate-fo-people-or-die kinda stuff, as if Jesus is in there checking who doesn’t forward the sorry chain messages so he cuts their oxygen supply? Truth is, I will choose death over reading or forwarding the sorry messages.

Let’s be honest, would you call up people (real people) and gather them for no reason? Yes? You are a psychopath, No? Then for the love of all things holy, don’t gather people on a WhatsApp group for no genuine cause. It’s evil. Unless you are punishing them for something wrong they ever did to you. DON’T.

Now, good people whose groups I left, are we still friends? I hope we are.
